HISTORY

Welcome to the Library Discoteque reunions' website!
This website is dedicated to as
PORKY DURAN says "The Serious
Library Disco People".

My dream is to someday recreate another Library Disco and rejuvenate
the music of the 70's and 80's, that sill remains popular today.
The original disco which was located on Main St. in Ventura, provided
music and entertainment as
DJ REGGIE spun all the popular tunes of the era.  Reggie who has attended all Library Disco reunions created the lasting magic of our memories today.

Everyone's response to remembering the Library Disco was "We had a great time and my weekends were always spent at the Library Disco in Ventura".

We encourage everyone to get on-board and help recreate the magic that the Library Disco represented.  Remember never let a dream die. The Library Disco lives on!

2009 REUNION UPDATE:

The 2009 Library Discoteque 3rd Annual Reunion
A HUGE SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2010 Summer Library Discoteque Reunion information coming soon.

n Saturday, November 21, 2009, The Library Discoteque Party at the Ventura County Fairgrounds  proved to be a night of dancing, reuniting with old friends and meeting new ones. The night featured DJ Ernie playing all your favorite 70's music followed by singing sensation Sherri Brandenburg. CJ from Sound Effect Band, also entertained the audience with his singing of the song made famous by Marvin Gaye "Whats Going On". The event featured go-go dancers Laura and Erica dancing all night long .

MC Rene Stewart called on Reggie Brazil who provided all the great Music at the Libray Discoteque in Ventura. DJ Reggie proved to the Audience that he can still mix and bring back the magic that he captured on the dance floor in the 70s and 80s. The event was such a success that everyone is asking when the next one will be. We are in the process of making plans for Library Discoteque 2010 and want to feature celebrity guests. We wish to thank Reggie, Porky, Ernie, Robert, Arlene, Irene, Lori, Christine, Rene, Mr. Stewart and everyone else who attended for their contribution to the success of this Party. We invite everyone to climb aboard with their ideas for future events and ask that you tell your friends about the fun time that was recaptured. When everyone thought the Library Discoteque was gone, it was merely reigniting and returning as you’ve never seen it before! Thanks for the support and see you in  2010!!!!!
